James Madison University is 20 minutes north of the Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport and less than 2 hours from Dulles International, Reagan National, Richmond international, Charlottesville Regional, and Roanoke Regional airports.
From I-81 South, take exit 245 and turn right onto Port Republic Rd. Turn right onto S Main St. In half-a-mile, the JMU School of Music will be on the right with the Forbes Center on the left.
From I-81 North, take exit 245 and turn left onto Port Republic Rd. Turn right onto S Main St. In half-a-mile, the JMU School of Music will be on the right with the Forbes Center on the left.
Parking
On-campus parking is FREE for the duration of the symposium.
Warsaw Parking Deck is attached to the Forbes Center. To enter, turn onto Warsaw Ave from S Main St, keep right at the light to stay on Warsaw Ave, and continue around the parking deck until you reach the entrance.
If you are staying with Hotel Madison, ask about dedicated parking for hotel guests at check-in.
